Description
Cunning, sly and avaricious, this lycanthrope appears as wiry humanoid, a giant rat, or a raving rat-man.
Tactics
Wererats are typically part of gang. They will infiltrate targets in human or rat form, but when angered, frightened or it suits them, will adopt a rat-man form. In this, they are most to be feared, as common weapons do them no real harm. A wererat's vision is adapted to low-light (but not no-light) conditions, they have an excellent sense of smell, and when in rat form, can use their whiskers to navigate blind. They will typically attempt to grapple and bite opponents. An opponent who suffers damage from a bite must make a constitution save against the diseased saliva or suffer from lycanthropy. The disease typically takes weeks to manifest.
